“On Shift” is a community photo project focused on photographing a Black firefighter within the Philadelphia Fire Department. Over the course of twelve weeks, I spent time with Tyric Robinson and photographed him through a mix of film and digital photography alongside camcorder recordings. My goal with this project was to shine a light on a group of people that are essential to our communities while sharing stories that often go unseen or unheard.
